We are prepared for all season and all weather, as we have a 50m x 24m indoor arena floodlit with spectator gallery, dressage markers and show jumps so we will never have to cancel your lesson or event due to wet weather.  The indoor arena surface has recently been replaced with a new sand and rubber surface.

 

We also have a full sized floodlit outdoor sand and rubber arena for the better weather or the hardier clients.

 

Being on the edge of town, we also have extensive grazing and our horses can be seen for quite a distance sunning themselves on the top of the hill in the warm weather.  We also have quite a lot of woodland areas where they can shelter from the rain and wind, if the weather is not so good.  We have a number of cross country fences and logs spread round the fields which offer good practice for cross country riding.   We also have a paddock for show jumping on grass over the summer months.

 

We have stabling for approx 50 horses. Mostly, this is indoor in American barn style stables, although we have a separate pony barn to accommodate some of our smaller ponies, and some outside boxes in the yard. The centre provides clipping (full/hunter/blanket; trace; neck and belly), plaiting (mane, tail) and trimming. Farrier and veterinary services are arranged weekly too. 

 

From time to time we have some space for additional livery clients. We offer full, rough and part livery but do not offer DIY livery. Additional information and details on our livery services are available on request.

 

For the shop-a-holic horse lovers, we also have our own well stocked onsite equestrian Shop “Everything Equestrian” which caters for every whim of both the horse and rider.
