Welcome!

On our website, you will find information about the riding lessons and our facilities and prices. Experienced riders can find out more about our hacks and group lessons, and information about our latest competitions on the events page.

Riding is a fun and rewarding activity and horses are beautiful, but they can be unpredictable. Before you start riding, you need to know that riding is a risk sport. However, it does not need to be any more dangerous than any other risk sport when the rider takes the appropriate precautions. Although it is impossible to eliminate all risks, by following these simple rules for horse riding safety, the possibility of injury can be greatly reduced.

Riding hats or helmets MUST be worn at all times when riding. They must conform to standards BSI with secured chin strap. (We can provide riding hats to current EU regulations.)

· Wear properly fitting footwear with a small heel to prevent your foot from slipping through the stirrup. NO flat-sole shoes or trainers.

· Wear appropriate clothing – preferably made from comfortable stretchy material. Please note that jeans can be uncomfortable. Absolutely nothing should flap. No loose scarves or jackets. Please remove all jewellery when riding.

· DO NOT mount your horse until an instructor is present.

· Please advise or update staff of any relevant medical complaint.

· If you require assistance, please ask a member of staff.

Clients who have not ridden with us before must compete an assessment lesson prior to joining a group lesson or hacking. These assessment lessons can be booked each day of the week, but please give us as much notice as possible.

We make every effort to ensure each client is allocated a suitable horse and for that reason we will ask your height and weight to choose suitable mount for you.  We recommend all riders have their own personal accident policy. Please note that due to insurance restrictions no tuition can be given to children under 5 years.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to go ahead and book. Hope to see you soon,
