At Busby Equitation Centre we have all kinds of horses and ponies for sale; sport horses, horses for hunting and showing, riding club and leisure activities, family friends and field companions, horses wanted, horses for loan, horses for lease or share.

We always have a large and varied selection of horses, cobs and ponies available for sale, many of which are currently used on our riding school. Whether you are looking for an eventer, a show jumper, a good all-rounder and a happy hacker you can find your dream horse right here.

We have a great deal of experience in helping the novice owner buy their first horse or pony, guiding them through the process. All our horses for sale are fully open to vet and trainer and can be fully tried and tested in our excellent on site facilities. We are happy to fully demonstrate any horse for sale in any situation. Once satisfied you will then be invited to ride if you so desire. Our after-sales service includes organising tack fittings onsite from our well stocked tack shop.

We also have a number of other horses, cobs and ponies available to loan. Loaning is an ideal way to try out horse ownership without the commitment of buying a horse. Horses and ponies on loan from Busby Equitation Centre remain at our premises for the duration of the loan. The loaner pays for the costs of stabled or grass livery, shoeing and worming. The loaner also needs to have personal accident insurance cover. The horses we loan remain for sale during the loan period, but we always give the loaner first refusal to purchase. Many of the horses we have available for loan are currently used on our riding school.
